Fab find or Bad buy? ESSENCE

I had never heard of the drug store brand Essence until the beauty guru and youtube, Tati, mentioned it on  her channel. I went to Ulta the other day to buy an eyeshadow brush, and like all Ulta trips, ended in me purchasing much more than I went in for. Among the items in my shopping bag were some of the Essence products Tati had mentioned along with a few others that looked nice and were extremely affordable. I thought I'd try out this lesser known brand and see for myself if it deserves more hype.

The products I purchased were:

Dip liquid liner          Satin touch blush (20 satin love)                      Sun Club bronzing powder

I have only yet to try the mascara, waterproof liner, and kaja pencil, but from how those products worked I am super excited to try the rest!

I applied the Kaja pencil to my waterline and it was a little tricky to finesse and get to apply, but once in the waterline it looked and felt great. And... it was a wopping $2

The waterproof eyeliner pen is a felt tip, super pigmented, super matte eyeliner that stayed all day. For $3 it is probably one of the greatest drug store liquid liners out there.

Now for the biggest and best find out of the things I've tried so far, the Volume Stylist Mascara. This mascara is probably the most opaque, dark mascara I've ever tried. It took one swipe to coat my lashes, and it did not clump which is a huge problem I tend to have. There was a slight transfer of product to where my eyelashes hit below my brow, but this is typically normal of my curly lashes and oily skin.

I am so excited to try out the rest of my new essence products because this brand and the three products I tried were definitely FAB FINDS!

Wearing the two liners and mascara.

Stay tuned for more fab finds or bad buys where i test and review products that catch my eye.
